Child Abuse Awareness

Child abuse awareness begins and ends within humanity... We must first realize the issue has reach a point of embarrassment and the world has allowed children to be persecuted by sick individuals, we have failed our greatest gift. A global dialog must be stimulated among us all. Nothing will change until the topic that we refuse to engage is the subject we come to realize must take place with frequent regularity... Our mission is to bring the subject of abuse to the forefront of compassionate individuals, the media and all humanity. Child abuse will end when the embarrassment is greater then the act itself...

Education and Provention

We believe education and prevention are key components to successfully ending abuse. The more information we can arm ourselves and our children, the more likely we are of preventing these horiffic acts of violence and neglect. The earlier we begin the better. As mothers are becoming younger and younger unfortunately their ability to care for a child suffers, in most cases they are still developing themselves. Parenting in the home is also a huge issue. Families are tasked with the need to work to support their household and are spending less time with the kids. There are many programs that exist to help in the area of education and prevention and we encourage you to explore them for yourself.

Recogition of Victims

Victims of child abuse run deep and are deeply effected. Statistics show 14% of all men in prison and 36% of women in prison in the USA were abused as children, about twice the frequency seen in the general population. Children who experience child abuse & neglect are about 9 times more likely to become involved in criminal activity.
Abused children are 25% more likely to experience teen pregnancy. Abused teens are more likely to engage in sexual risk taking, putting them at greater risk for STDs.
